Why there's hope for the tech sector despite troubling start to 2022 | Daniel Paproth
“Tech stocks the world over have been absolutely hammered in 2022 so far, but it doesn’t spell danger for the sector overall.“
In his article, Paproth references Morgan Stanley senior analyst Nick Harris, who identifies that “the (current) tech market tumbles are due to wider concerns about interest rates and inflation”, however within the technology sector, the market should not lose hope as “the quality of earnings and fundamentals haven’t changed for many tech companies, despite the share price falls.”
Paproth suggests ClearVue Technologies Limited (ASX: CPV) is one such company, with strong fundamentals now backed by independently derived data from the ClearZero Archetype energy report. ClearZero scores 99 out 100 against the Energy Star matrix, measuring building performance & low carbon emissions.
