“This partnership is an important milestone for us, allowing us to leverage our expertise in heated glazing technology with ClearVue’s cutting-edge solar photovoltaic solutions. The fact that ClearVue’s Solar Façade is designed to integrate with standard building curtain wall and framing systems means we will be able to use the ClearVue Solar Vision Glass, Solar Cladding, and Solar Spandrel solutions for both new build and retrofit projects. At My Glass Projects, we have always been focused on advanced glass solutions. The substantial impact ClearVue can have on offsetting the carbon footprint of commercial buildings is one of the things that we are most inspired by, and we are looking forward to implementing the façade solutions in upcoming projects,” says Sunil Sharda, Managing Director, My Glass Projects.
“This partnership represents a significant opportunity for ClearVue to expand into new markets and introduce our innovative technology to a wider audience, including a new ‘heated glass’ product with valuable applications in cold climates as well as tropical climates to control external condensation.
“We are excited our first partnership in the UK is with leading glazing specialist, My Glass Projects, who we have worked with for the past two years on trial projects. Significant in the global market, TÜV SÜD fire classification tests were performed on ClearVuePV Vision Glass earlier this year which determined that ClearVue’s Vision Glass has very limited combustibility and does not significantly contribute to the formation or spread of fire (A2 rating). Further, the double-glazing unit performed at the highest levels because it exhibited only minimal smoke propagation (s1 rating) and no flaming droplets or debris falling from the unit while burning (d0 rating).
