Company History

First established in 1996, ClearVue Technologies Ltd (formerly Tropiglas Technologies Ltd) ACN 071 397 487 after early setbacks with its energy efficient coatings business stopped operations at the end of 2007 to regroup. The Company recommenced operations and changed direction during 2010 and is now at the vanguard of micro and nano-photonic photo voltaic technologies producing building integrated photo voltaic (BIPV) solutions. The company’s core product offering is at its simplest highly energy efficient, clear glass that generates electricity.

Internationally recognised and scientifically published for this disruptive technology, ClearVue Technologies (ClearVue) is set to commercialise clear glass products through strategic alliances with some of the world’s largest organisations.  ClearVue expects clear glass product will be available for sale in 2017/18.

Based in Perth, Western Australia along with our research partner Edith Cowan University, ClearVue is a renewable energy company that seeks to play an important role in meeting the world’s current and future energy requirements in a clean, safe and sustainable manner.

ClearVue Technologies is a disruptive technology where the consumers of energy are both the demand side and the supply side of their energy needs. Our mission is to enable consumers of energy the ability to generate their own electricity to power their own homes, businesses, greenhouses, cars and mobile devices from one of the world’s most common building materials, glass.

Through our patented nano-technology, an activated interlayer sits within two panes of glass and redirects infra-red and ultraviolet light to the side of a window to harvest the solar energy with traditional PV elements. ClearVue Technologies is at the forefront of an energy and architectural design revolution that we believe will address in part society’s future energy demands for a clean, sustainable and renewable energy solution.
